A therapy that is holistic is focused on the whole body, mind, emotions and energy of a person. Holistic means whole. So therapy that is holistic is embracing the truth that we are more than a physical body.
We have emotions, we have thoughts, and we have an energy that flows through us, that is the same energy that is within nature.
A holistic therapist believes that our physical body is connected to our minds, our emotions and our life force. As a holistic practitioner, educator and coach- I have experienced the effectiveness of holistic therapies for physical ailments, emotional problems and to improve my mental well being during my journey to motherhood.
Everything I am trained to do as a professional, I also use personally. Holism and the connection between the mind, body and spirit is a philosophy that I believe in, it is away of being.
